Bill Spotts - Founder/CEO
Bill is a licensed Life, Health, and Disability Income insurance professional, and practice leader of Heritage Benefits. He is a dedicated to the employee benefits business for large for-profit and non-profit organizations. With over 38 years of experience in both fully insured and self-insured group plan benefits. Bill focuses on group health, life and disability income insurance benefits for public and closely held corporations, their owners, directors, and employees. Bill works closely with his clients to design and implement programs that enhance the business. He also introduces additional programs such as voluntary disability income and life insurance programs and executive carve-outs.
Bill’s accomplishments include being past president of the Baltimore Association of Health Underwriters, a board member of the Maryland Health Underwriters Association and an active member of the National Association of Life Underwriters and of Health Underwriters.
Bill is heavily involved with philanthropic organizations in the greater Baltimore area. He and his wife served as co-chairs for the Pathfinders for Autism Leadership event. Throughout his life, Bill has passed a board member for numerous organizations in the Baltimore area. He currently sits on the Board of the Woodbourne Center and the Salvation Army.

Beth Spotts - President
Beth Spotts graduated from Loyola University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She then obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Work from UMAB. Beth has worked with families and children for over 15 years. She was runner up in 2006 for Woman of the Year for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In addition, she co-chaired an event for Pathfinders for Autism in 2015.

Sean Hull - Board Member
Sean earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Franklin P. Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University. He holds the Series 7, 65 and 63 and is Life and Health certified in the state of Maryland. Hull is the president of the Life and Breath Foundation and a board member of the Y of Central Maryland and the First Tee of Howard County. Sean lives in Ellicott City, Maryland and enjoys raising his children, playing golf, and pursing his interests in athletics and community leadership.

Mark Rhode - Board Member
Mr. Rohde is a Managing Director of JPB Capital Partners. He joined JPB Partners in 2007 and has served as CEO of two JPB Capital Partners’ previous portfolio companies – Motif Design (a subsidiary of DisplayWorks) and Davis Inotek Instruments. As CEO of Davis Inotek Instruments, Mr. Rohde transitioned the 100-year old distributor of test and measurement equipment to a nationwide calibration services firm increasing revenue by 14% and EBITDA by 258% in 2008, and another 3% and 17%, respectively in 2009. After successfully selling Davis Inotek Instruments to Danaher Corporation in 2009, Mr. Rohde joined JPB Partners as CEO of JPB Partners’ Strategic Advisory group. Since 2013, Mr. Rohde has transitioned to a full time role with JPB Capital Partners serving as one of the Managing Directors providing operations leadership and expertise.
Prior to joining JPB Partners, Mr. Rohde held several executive level positions including President and COO of EMG, LLC, an environmental and engineering firm, CEO of Network Building & Consulting, LLC, a venture capital-backed telecommunications firm, and President of Communications Solutions Group, a division of Convergys Information Management Group (a publicly traded company), where he led both their rise to a market leadership position in North America as well as its expansion into Europe and South America. Mr. Rohde currently is a member of the board of directors of ZIPS, Ticknors Men’s Clothiers, South Moon Under, and Hometown Hospice & Homecare, INC. (all JPB Capital Partners Fund III portfolio companies).
Mr. Rohde earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Master of Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland.

Frank Savarese - Board Member
Frank Savarese, Managing Partner at Weyrich, Cronin & Sorra, Chartered, has over 35 years of public accounting. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, and a Masters Degree in Taxation from the University of Baltimore. Frank joined the firm in 1982 and became a partner in 1987. His experience includes Management Advisory Services, Federal and State Taxation Services, Mergers and Acquisitions, Audit, Review, and Compilation for a variety of clients that are for profit and non-profit. Frank is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, and has served on various committees in these organizations. He is actively involved in various community services for non-profit Organizations and currently serves on the Board for Msgr. O’Dwyer Retreat House, and Archbishop Curley High School.
